Use the dashboard when form operators should own the questions and settings. You'll build a short contact form, publish it, and verify one hosted response.
1. Start a form
Open the form editor. Describe the form for an AI draft when that option is available, choose Start blank, or begin with a template. A guest draft stays in this browser until you sign in and claim it.
Give the form a plain title that tells your team what its responses are for. The title also shows up on the hosted form and in the dashboard.
2. Add the questions
- Select Add block.
- Choose Email and label it "Work email."
- Add Long text and label it "How can we help?"
- Require only the answers the receiving team can't work without.
Use Page break when the next group of questions should appear as a separate step. The preview updates with the same schema the published renderer will use.
3. Set the completion state
Edit the success title, success message, and optional redirect in the form settings. A redirect must be an HTTP or HTTPS URL. Leave it empty when the respondent should stay on the Fillo confirmation screen.
4. Publish and test
Select Publish. Publishing creates the public version used by hosted pages and SDK embeds. Later editor changes stay a draft until you publish again.
Open the hosted link and submit a realistic test response. Then return to Responses and confirm the answer, source, and submission time before sending the link to anyone else.
5. Embed it or share the hosted link
Use the hosted link for a standalone form. For a form that belongs inside your product, copy the form ID from Share and render it with an SDK:
import { FilloForm } from "@usefillo/react";
export function ContactForm() {
return <FilloForm formId="your-published-form-id" />;
}Published form IDs can be fetched and submitted without a publishable key. Add a client only for a custom API origin, browser-direct uploads, or code-defined form sync.
