Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Fillo, operated by Jafu ApS (“Fillo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service, and early access

Fillo lets you build forms, render them inside your own product, and collect responses. The service is currently in early access (beta): it may change, and features can be added or removed while we develop it.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate details and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for your workspace members.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't use Fillo to collect data unlawfully, or to build forms for phishing, spam, malware, or harassment.
• Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or access data that isn't yours.
• Collect personal data only with a lawful basis, and tell your respondents how their data is used.
• Don't use Fillo for payment card numbers, protected health information, children's data, or special-category data unless you have the required legal basis and safeguards, and we have agreed in writing where a special agreement is needed.
• Follow all laws that apply to you and to the data you collect.

4. Your data

You own the forms you create and the responses you collect. For those responses you are the data controller and we are your processor under our Data Processing Agreement. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that data to run the service for you. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Storage you connect

Uploaded files go to storage you connect (Google Drive, Box, or an S3-compatible bucket). You are responsible for that account, its access, and its costs. Fillo stores file metadata and a reference to each file, not a long-term copy of the file contents; authenticated downloads may stream through Fillo for providers that need it.

6. Fees, billing, and cancellation

The Free plan has no fee. The Everything plan is a paid subscription with a monthly response allowance you choose, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices and allowances are on Pricing. Prices exclude VAT, sales tax, and similar taxes, which are added at checkout where applicable.

• Who bills you. Subscriptions are sold through Stripe’s Managed Payments service. For these purchases Sold through Link, LLC (“Link”) is the merchant of record: it processes your payment, calculates, collects, and remits VAT and sales tax where applicable, and issues your receipts and invoices, which show “Sold through Link”. Link’s own purchase terms, shown at checkout, also apply. We remain responsible for the Fillo service itself.
• Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly billing period until you cancel it. By subscribing, you authorize the recurring charge for each renewal.
• Changing plans. You can change your volume or billing period at any time in Settings → Billing & plan. A move to a larger volume takes effect immediately and is charged pro rata for the rest of the current period. A move to a smaller volume also takes effect immediately; the unused part of the current period is credited to your billing account and applied to future invoices, not refunded. Switching from yearly to monthly billing at the same volume takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Allowances are soft limits. If a workspace goes over its monthly allowance, its forms keep collecting. We'll ask you to move to a larger volume, but we won't charge for the excess, change your plan, or stop your forms because of it. The abuse-prevention rate limits in our documentation still apply.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, it is retried and your plan stays active while it is. If the subscription ends unpaid, the workspace returns to the Free plan.
• Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing & plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Everything until then. Monthly fees are not refunded, including for partial months. Yearly payments are refunded in full on request within 14 days of purchase or renewal. Details are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
• Price changes. We'll email account holders at least 30 days before changing the price or allowance of an existing subscription. The change applies from the first renewal after that notice; you can cancel before it takes effect.

Forms rendered with Fillo show a “Powered by Fillo” attribution on the Free plan. The Everything plan, at any volume, can turn it off. While on Free, you may not remove, hide, or obscure it. Headless embedding — running Fillo’s engine with your own layout (e.g. FilloProvider / createFormController) — renders no Fillo layout, so the attribution does not apply there; it is available on every plan.

7. Availability

We work to keep Fillo available and reliable, but during early access it is provided without a formal service-level commitment. We may perform maintenance or change the service.

8. Termination

You can stop using Fillo and delete your account at any time; cancel any paid subscription in Settings → Billing & plan first, as described in section 6. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. You can export your responses before closing your account; after closure we delete your data as described in the DPA.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties, to the extent allowed by law — this is especially true while it’s in beta. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the greater of EUR 100 or the amount you paid Fillo in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; for material changes we’ll notify account holders. These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Questions: hello@fillo.so.
